Cell Migration Models (CMM) are epidermal or epithelial models such as the SkinEthic Reconstructed Human Cornea (HCE) or SkinEthic RHE, on an innovative insert.
This insert has a double porosity which makes it possible to study the migration of cells in reconstructed human tissues. It is now possible to study in these reconstructed tissues the infiltration mechanisms and interactions with the epithelial cells of immunocompetent, macrophages, lymphocytes or dendritic cells by reproducing in vitro the phenomena observed in certain chronic inflammatory pathologies for example.
Epidermal or mucosal models reconstructed on this insert are hitsologically similar to in vivo human epidermis and mucosa.
